Through Artificial Intelligence “Teachable Machine” and Used Cooking Oil Donation, We Support the Achievement of the SDGs 2030
SDN Ciora continues to promote innovative and meaningful learning by integrating the Used Cooking Oil Donation Program with Artificial Intelligence (AI) through Google Teachable Machine. In this program, students are encouraged not only to collect used cooking oil from their homes but also to observe, classify, and analyze its condition using AI technology. This hands-on learning experience helps students develop critical thinking, curiosity, environmental awareness, and digital literacy from an early age. Through a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach, the collected used cooking oil is then transformed into useful products, such as liquid cleaning soap, allowing students to experience how science and technology can solve real-world environmental problems.
Through this initiative, SDN Ciora demonstrates its commitment to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and Goal 13 (Climate Action). By combining artificial intelligence, environmental education, and character development, SDN Ciora has created a unique and forward-looking learning environment that prepares students to become responsible global citizens. The school hopes this program will inspire families and the wider community to recycle used cooking oil responsibly rather than disposing of it carelessly, contributing to a healthier environment and a more sustainable future.
